A sea scooter is judged in the water. But before the water there is the aft deck, the place where you put down the towel, pull on the mask, and where the boat becomes a starting point. That is where Sublue chose to be seen at the Cannes Yachting Festival, from 8 to 13 September 2026.
On the boats rather than in a stand
This year, rather than one more stand in the aisles, we offered shipyards the chance to display the scooters directly on board their boats, in the Vieux Port as well as Port Canto. Several brands took part: Galeon, VYBE, YOT, Salpa, present with its distributor Zeboat, and Sessa Marine.
On each boat, one or two scooters waited for visitors on the sunpad, the bathing platform or the aft deck: a Navbow on the teak of a flybridge, a Whiteshark Mix Pro next to the engines, a Tini in the cockpit of a day boat. No display case, no podium, at the exact spot where they will be used.

What visitors saw
This staging answered a question we are often asked: “Does it take up room on board?”. On a ten-metre aft deck, a 3.5 kg Navbow disappears into a locker. A Tini fits in a beach bag. The Mix Pro, with its two propellers, stays more compact than a towable tube.
The yards’ crews were able to answer the same questions we do: battery range, charging time on board, operating depth, and what a scooter changes for a snorkelling outing with children.

A natural partnership with the yards
These boats are chosen for life at anchor: swimming, exploring a cove, getting in the water from the swim platform. The sea scooter is part of that equipment, just like a paddleboard or an inflatable platform. Sublue’s presence on board these brands during the show made it possible to demonstrate this concretely, and to prepare with several yards and dealers a “scooter included” offer for next season.

After the show
Sublue was also present on stand PAN 309 of Poseidon Yachting, the brand’s distributor in France, with the full range and the after-sales team. Dealers and yards wishing to receive demonstration scooters for their own boats can write to us at contact@sublue.fr.
Thank you to the teams at Galeon, VYBE, YOT, Salpa, Zeboat and Sessa Marine for opening their aft decks to us.
