Advice from the workshop

Do not choose the Navbow+ to go faster: it does not go faster, and it holds exactly the same times — Turbo included, eight minutes before it drops back to Sport. Choose it if you lend the scooter out, if you dive with children, or if you want to cap the depth — the adjustable alarm is what changes the dive most. The fast charger does the rest: 1 h 45 instead of 3 h 30.

Highlights

What the “+” adds

Digital compass

Your heading, live. You head back to the boat without circling, even when visibility drops.

Depth sensor

Depth is read in real time — and can be capped: set a limit and the scooter warns you by vibration before you cross it.

Temperature sensor

Water temperature appears on the display and is logged with the rest of the dive.

Sublue app

Every dive is synced: review the track, set the limits, share it. Settings are made from the phone.

Fast charger included

An hour and three quarters for a full battery, against 3 h 30 with the standard charger. On the Navbow this charger is an option; here it is supplied.

Alarms and protection

Adjustable depth alarm, low-battery alert, multi-layer battery protection: nothing stops without warning.

Who it is for

The Navbow+ is for you if…

You want to know where you are

Heading, depth and temperature live in front of you: the dive is flown rather than endured.

You lend it, or you rent it out

The depth limit is set and locked from the app. A beginner will not go deeper than the figure you chose.

You film with your phone

The smartphone mount and the H1 waterproof case fit on top: filming no longer takes your hands.

Colours

Available in two colours

Phantom Grey or Orange Flame.

Frequently asked

What people ask us most

What is the difference between the Navbow and the Navbow+?

Hull, twin motors, three modes and battery are the same. The Navbow+ adds a compass, a depth sensor and a temperature sensor, an adjustable depth alarm, syncing with the Sublue app — and its fast charger is supplied as standard (1 h 45 instead of 3 h 30). See the Navbow.

Is the Navbow+ faster, or does it last longer?

No: same 7.2 km/h, same 137 N, same run times — 60 minutes at 4.3 km/h, 30 at 6.5, and 8 minutes in Turbo before it drops back to Sport for 15 more. What changes is the sensors, the app and the fast charger, which brings a full battery down to 1 h 45.

What is the depth alarm for?

You set a depth not to be exceeded; the scooter warns by vibration before it is reached. Useful for a child, a beginner, or a scooter you lend out — the limit is set from the app.

Can the Sublue Navbow+ battery go on a plane?

Yes, in the cabin — never in the hold. Do check with your airline before you fly: above 100 Wh they have to agree, and two spare batteries at most. The scooter itself, battery removed, goes in the hold without trouble.

Can a phone be mounted on it?

Yes, with the smartphone mount and the H1 waterproof case. Photos and video then land in the Sublue app.

What maintenance after a dive in the sea?

A rinse in clean fresh water, propellers turned by hand, then drying before the battery compartment is closed again. The full routine is on our Transport and maintenance page.

Care

Care comes down to four habits

A scooter rinsed after every outing does not age. That is very nearly all it asks.

Rinse within half an hour

Sublue asks that the scooter be immersed in clean water within thirty minutes of a sea outing, battery in place, and run for a few seconds at low speed to flush the salt out. No detergent, no soapy water.

Dry before closing it up

Wipe the water off the body and the battery compartment, then let it air-dry somewhere cool. Never use a hairdryer: heat distorts the seals.

Store the two apart

Out of season, scooter and battery are stored separately, in their packaging, out of the sun, between 0 and 45 °C and below 65 % humidity. Once a month, run it for ten seconds or so.

Grease the shafts and the contacts

A dab of silicone grease on the propeller shafts and on the battery contacts, at the end of the season and after a long sea outing. That is what keeps corrosion away.

The SublueGo app

It connects over Bluetooth, keeps a log of your dives — depth, temperature, duration —, sets the depth alarm and applies the safety lock. Firmware updates for the scooter arrive the same way.

In short

The Sublue Navbow+ is the instrumented version of the Navbow underwater scooter: same hull, same twin motors, same three speeds up to 7.2 km/h and 60 minutes of run time.

It adds a compass, a depth sensor and a temperature sensor, a depth alarm you set from the Sublue app, and a fast charger that refills in 1 h 45.

Ready to dive

Know where you are, at every moment

Heading, depth, temperature, adjustable alarm: the Navbow+ is the Navbow for those who go further than the surface.
